G2X TAKE: With 6 bidders and a stated total contract value of $1.9 Billion, a protest is likely coming, but for now, the team from CACI can celebrate as they were selected as the awardee for this 8-year task to support this mission-critical CBP Portfolio whose purpose is to develop, modernize, enhance, migrate to the cloud, operate and maintain services for DHS/CBP mission critical systems. Funded out of the CBP Office of the CIO, this task, competed on GSA Alliant 2, included an initial $48M in obligated funds for year one.

- CACI recently announced they had “secured a prime position on the multiple-award, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity Tactical Communications Equipment and Services (TACCOM) II contract, with a ceiling value of $3 billion, to provide tactical communications and support services to the Department of Homeland Security”.
