G2X TAKE: We at G2X pay attention when we see a relative startup add a former senior Government executive, but even more so when we see they added three of them this year. Quantum Vetting, an SDVOSB cyber technology services company with domain expertise in cybervetting, cybersecurity, data science, and digital solutions, has been quietly acquiring talent.
Three key 2018 hires by Quantum Vetting include the additions of:
- Recent DHS Sr. Program Manager and Deputy Division Chief and former USCIS Chief for Standard Tools and Services Branch, Armad Kittrell as their new Vice President for Homeland Security and Law Enforcement;
- Former USCIS Branch Chief for Mission Engineering Kieran Kobell as their new VP of National Security and Supply Chain Solutions;
- and, earlier this year, the former USCIS Division Chief for the Program Management Office within the Fraud Detection and National Security (FDNS) Directorate Albert Davis as an Executive Vice President. Davis will lead both the commercial and Government services portfolio for QV. We should note that, in addition to his 6-year stint with USCIS, Davis also previously served as a leader driving the CBP Secure Border Initiative within the Office of Technology Innovation and Acquisition.
Big investments do not guarantee success, but they do signify intent. This firm, who only has a listed start date of April 2017, is showing that they came to play. We suspect more than a few firms are already aligned closely with this new player who can tout valuable perspective and insight that is hard to find. #onetowatch in 2019
