Department of Commerce names new Director of Digital Engagement

Alicia Sowah, a web professional with over two decades of experience in both Government and the private sector, with a record of developing and delivering comprehensive web services enhancing organizational efforts, has now been named the Director of Digital Engagement at the Department of Commerce. In her new role Alicia will lead the development and implementation of strategic plans for digital media initiatives.

Prior roles include:

  • Deputy Director of Digital Engagement – Department of Commerce
  • IT Specialist, Minority Business Development Agency – Department of Commerce
  • Web Content Manager – BranCore Technologies
