Department of Transportation (DOT) issues RFP for Draft Enterprise IT Shared Services (EITSS)

The DOT is issuing two (2) Draft RFPs covering Enterprise IT Shared Services (EITSS).

“One RFP seeks a Contractor to provide professional IT staff to effectively administer, manage, and perform the duties and responsibilities as defined in this Performance Work Statement (PWS). Through this PWS, the Contractor will provide re cross-functional processes, tools, metrics and reporting to perform required management oversight and governance to all tasks under the EITSS contract. Contractor personnel shall perform the work as required to accomplish the IT and related support services requirements of DOT and its customers. The Contractor shall provide personnel to effectively administer, manage, and perform the duties and responsibilities as defined in this Enterprise Information Technology Shared Services (EITSS) Program Management and Integration Support (PM/IS) PWS….”

The second is the Infrastructure Operations Performance Work Statement (PWS), and includes work required to operate and maintain the Infrastructure environment.  The work performed in this PWS will be monitored, tested, and reported by the Program Management and Integration Support PWS awardee.

This Performance Work Statement (PWS) establishes the requirements for ITSS Infrastructure Services. The Contractor shall provide operations personnel and services for the full spectrum of ITSS operations projects, platforms, and services, to include endpoints, infrastructure, networks, and security. As a leader in the industry, DOT anticipates the Contractor will be capable to utilize and support Service and Software Management Systems widely used in the IT industry to include Remedy, SolarWinds, BigFix and/or similar products. (Refer to Attachment J) The Contractor is responsible for providing trained and skilled personnel to design, build, manage, and administer these solutions as outlined in this PWS.  The Government will not be responsible for training the Contractor workforce on these solutions….
