G2X TAKE: Beating out three other bidders, ManTech, a consultancy that specializes in providing innovative solutions in cyber security, big data analytics, enterprise IT and systems engineering to the Federal Government, has been awarded a 5 ½-year task in support of the Department of Homeland Security’s Customs and Border Protection’s Targeting and Analysis Systems Program Directorate BISS requirements. The task, funded by the Office of the CIO, was competed and awarded using GSA ALLIANT 2.
- In addition to their prior experience serving as Prime on a $224M 5-year task they were awarded in 2016 to provide Business Intelligence Support Services to the CBP OCIO, ManTech is a longtime and major partner to CBP who brings direct experience as a Prime on a number of high profile efforts and initiatives ranging from a $128 Million Award they added last year to Provide Program Management and Engineering Support for the CBP Office of Acquisition, and providing PSPD IT Applications Support Services to OA, to driving Information and Enforcement Technology for the CBP Office of Training and Development.
- ManTech has been building out its growth team of late, to include adding Patricia Gietl to help lead growth of the Federal Civilian and DHS pipelines as Vice President of Business Development & Capture Management, and recruiting former DHS Customer Engagement leader Robert Genesoni to direct Homeland Security growth.
