Building on prior experience providing its proprietary Training Management System to the Department of Homeland Security’s USCIS, Envisage Technologies, a provider of training systems for Federal, state, and local public safety and Government training organizations across the United States, beat out three other bidders to be awarded a new 5 ½-year contract. The contract, funded by the CIO Business Resource Management, was awarded using IT-70.
- USCIS recently announced an award for Acadis Readiness Suite (Acadis) software from Envisage Technologies on a sole-source basis. Acadis is Envisage’s proprietary Training Management System (TMS), and it will be used at the USCIS Academy Training Center (ATC), located on the OHS FLETC campus. Earlier this year, the company was awarded a 5-year contract to provide the Customs and Border Protection (CBP) with Acadis software and license.
- The company’s history with ICE dates back at least a decade to a 2009 announcement that U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), an agency within the Department of Homeland Security, awarded the company a 5-year, $3.5 million contract (total base plus options). Envisage will utilize its Acadis® Readiness Suite software as the foundation for ICE’s Training Management Support System (TMSS). Read the full press release here. Source: Envisage.
