DOE Fermilab RFI: Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)

“Fermi Research Alliance LLC (FRA), operator of Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory (hereinafter called Fermilab), has issued this Request for Information (RFI) in furtherance of Fermilab’s Prime Contract No. DE-AC02-76CG11359 with the United States Department of Energy (DOE). Fermilab requests your Budgetary Proposal for Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) in accordance with the attached CMMS Functional Requirement document.”

“CMMS Functional Requirement – Fermilab would like to replace / expand its current CMMS, this document includes the functions we would like to explore but we understand that not all systems will have all these functional requirements. We are looking for information to see if there is a set of options that we could use as an application / system with modules or an application / system that can connect to other complementary applications / systems.

Maintenance Work Order Management – Create and complete work orders on linear utility, equipment systems, individual equipment, buildings and site services

  • Site services performed at Fermilab include: Landscape maintenance
    • Grounds operation
    • Sign Shop requests
    • Roads, parking lots and paths
    • Snow removal
    • Restoration activities
    • Equipment maintenance
    • Bison herd operations
    • Wildlife support
    • Pesticide application
    • Surface drainage
    • Activities support
    • Miscellaneous special requests
  • Track work order costs such as labor, equipment, materials and miscellaneous costs
  • Assign multiple assets or tasks to a single work order
  • Capability to create templates.
  • Create, assign and complete work activities on desktop or mobile
  • Be able to link/store external files that may include a variety of document types, images or URLs Planning and Scheduling Management…”
