“This position is part of the Office of the Chief Financial Officer.
- Manage, direct, coordinate, and actively participate in IT projects involving feasibility studies, assessment of management information needs, project planning, cost estimates, system requirements analysis, general and conceptual design, hardware/software configuration and selection, preparation of cyber and system documentation, user training, data conversion, programming and testing, implementation, evaluation, and ongoing operational support measures.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, utilizing in-depth knowledge and experience in IT project management. Direct technical teams to work together with their customers to evaluate IT solutions, assess and re-engineer core business processes, and implement the selected packages in such a manner as to capitalize on the inherent best business practices in the software as well as cyber best practices.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of the team’s operations in terms of mission accomplishment, quality and quality standards, procedural, policy, and regulatory compliance, and technical competence; and, make changes in work flow and balance workload among team members to increase the effectiveness of the team’s operations.
