Update: DOJ Drug Enforcement Administration awards $6M Concorde Core Support bridge contract to Chenega

8(a) small business  Chenega Professional & Technical Services (CPTS) has been awarded a one-year, $6M bridge contract by the Department of Justice for Concorde core support.  This contract was funded by the Drug Enforcement Administration’s Office of Information Systems.

“The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Chenega Professional & Technical Services, Chesapeake, VA, for Concorde Core Support. DEA’s Office of Information Systems intends to solicit and negotiate only with Chenega Professional & Technical Services under authority 41 U.S.C. 3304(a) (1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1

The government anticipates awarding a contract for a base period of three months with three three-month option periods. The purpose of issuing this contract on a sole source basis is to provide continuing services in support of the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) until a new competitive contract can be awarded …”
