FLETC has awarded a bridge contract to continue to provide Enterprise IT Support Services (EITSS) to DHS’ FLETC program. The FLETC Enterprise IT support services contract provides all support for IT systems that are used in the day to day operations of the FLETC and for the Administration IT services for FLETC staff and IT training services of all students. The contractor also ensures continuity of services by providing Network, Systems, IT Service Desk, After Action Review, Enterprise Security Services, IT Service Desk Ticketing System, FLETC Collaboration System and Oracle Server Database services.
A new solicitation was advertised, competed and awarded. Protests were files so this bridge contract allows continuity of services pending the outcome of the GAO decision. The current three contracts expire December 31, 2018 and so a 100-day bridge contract is required until the pending protests are reviewed and resolved.
The period of performance is from January 1, 2019 to April 10, 2019.
