GDIT awarded $202M DHS FEMA COVID-19 Contact Center Support contract

G2X TAKE: GDIT, a major partner to the Department of Homeland Security, who specializes in helping agencies address new challenges and identify opportunities through the application of technology and services, just beat out three other bidders to secure a new 2-year, $202M award. Work is to provide a contact center to provide funeral services assistance to surviving family members of the COVID-19 disaster. This contract, which was funded by the Federal Emergency Management Agency’s Community Survivor Assistance Section, under the GSA automated contact center solutions contracts, is identified as being awarded using GSA IT-70.
