“Every one of the IT organizations that have gone through the process, including those who didn’t get award money, have been improved by going through the process; better governance, more incremental funding that is more agile,” Weichert said. “On the people front, we have asked questions that can’t be unasked. We changed where background investigations are done. In the process, we used a measured toll gate process to do that transition so we have delivered the change on time, on budget.”
