G2X TAKE: Beating out two other bidders, global technology and management consulting firm Booz Allen Hamilton has been awarded a 5-year task in support of the General Services Administration Office of Governmentwide Policy to provide Capital Planning and Investment Control (CPIC) Project Management Office (PMO) support services. The contract, valued at $70M, was awarded using GSA MAS.
- Booz Allen Hamilton has been busy building out its team of late to include recruiting Emily Fuerst as Capture Lead Associate; recruiting Chris Hegedus as Senior Executive Advisor; and tapping industry leader Andrew Larson to be Vice President. (An interesting note, former Booz Allen Hamilton EIT Business Operations Manager/Lead Associate Rafael Karaan is now a Senior Project Manager, Information Technology Category with the General Services Administration’s Federal Acquistion Service.)
- Booz Allen has also been busy building out its capabilities, announcing this summer they would be investing in Leading Adaptive AI Company Latent AI; and completing its acquisition of Liberty IT Solutions.
