GSA issues RFI for enterprise cloud-based video services


GSA Information Technology (IT), has issued an RFI for a managed enterprise cloud-based video services. GSA is interested in industry’s capabilities in providing and maintaining a fully managed Enterprise Cloud Video solution, also known as Video as a Service (VaaS) capable of supporting GSA’s enterprise-wide requirements for a full-service provider to implement and manage a Commercial-Off-the-Shelf (COTS) cloud-based, scalable secure digital video service. The application would need to be hosted within a public-cloud providers (Google, AWS and/or Azure) or with a vendor Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP) certified facility. The overall goal is to obtain outstanding visual communication quality based on the latest high-end systems.

The managed VaaS shall provide the ability to standardize, enhance and improve the security and efficiency of GSA video services. The VaaS shall provide a centralized VaaS management system to replace multiple local implementations and configurations.
