GSA recruits DOI Lead Contracting Officer to head OASIS Contract Team

Alan Rumney, a contract professional who served as the contracting officer on more than $500 million in contracts and obligated funds that exceeded $100 million per year, and who specializes in soliciting and awarding flexible contracts for Professional Services and complex IT efforts on behalf of the Federal Government, has taken on a new challenge as Branch Chief of the OASIS Contract Team at the General Services Administration.

Prior roles include:

  • Lead Contracting Officer – U.S. Department of the Interior
  • Contract Specialist – U.S. Department of the Interior
  • Contract Specialist – Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA)
