“2. Background

… GSA Real Estate Exchange (G-REX) is a leasing tool that supports the GSA mission of delivering the best value in real estate acquisitions and technical services for the American taxpayer. G-REX leverages an electronic lease file checklist and electronic milestone schedule to allow the leasing community guidance and flexibility while managing lease procurements. Policy guidance is also incorporated employing business logic and PBS common services integration to aid and document Lease procurements. The information housed in G-REX is used to assess, evaluate, award, and assist the leasing community in managing the lease lifecycle.

Implementation of the system and its efficiencies provide accountability, increased transparency into leasing activities, more efficient communications between business lines and other applications, and continuous improvement of customer experience. G-REX is currently using Appian 21.2 and is on premise…”

“3. Scope

The G-REX application will require ongoing operations to support the operability, usability, security, and upgrades in GSA’s on premise test (TST), integration (INT), and production (PROD) environments. Application operability also includes support for the operability, usability, security, and upgrades to integrations with Appian platform (on premise) and GREX application in the Public Buildings Information Technology Service (PB-ITS). Operational maintenance of the G-REX application including all necessary updates, corrective action of escaped defects or on behalf of user operations, security-related changes, security mitigation solutions, and support of future-contracted enhancements. The support of this application will include the incorporation of and ongoing maintenance of workflows presently existing as well as those developed by enhancements.

“5. Outsourcing Objectives

The RFI is intended to designate a contracted technical development team(s) who will work with the Government PB-ITS-designated Servant Leader and Product Owner from PBS Office of Leasing to perform the following for the G-REX application:

  • Operation and Maintenance (O&M) Support
  • Help Desk Support
  • Optional Enhancement Support

The base and each option period are expected to last 12 months with the option from the Government to renew. All submissions shall indicate the Vendor as an Appian partner in the US Federal space…”
