GSA Technology Transformation Service restructures, agency vet and newcomer named Assistant Commissioners

G2X TAKE: The GSA Technology Transformation Service, which has been led by seasoned industry IT executive Anil Cheriyan since January, has restructured into pillars: Clients and Markets and Solutions and Products.

Cheriyan has named his Assistant Commissioners who will lead each group. One name is well-known to those in the Federal IT community, while the other is a newcomer to Government that many will be looking to get to know in the coming months.

Dominic Sale, who has been with GSA since 2014 serving in IT executive roles, will now lead Solutions and Products, while industry IT executive Harry Lee will head Clients and Markets.

Lee spent 14 years with Teradata, a pervasive data intelligence company, and most recently served as Managing Director of BluSky Strategic Advisors, a consulting company based in Atlanta.

This article by FedScoop does a good job of breaking down the reorg and discusses next steps.
