In maturing the EA Support Services, HUD’s approach of Architect, Invest and Implement will be used to ensure mission performance within the HUD business areas including the effective and efficient alignment of HUD’s information technology (IT) resources with its strategic business objectives.

The HUD OCIO seeks a revamped and renewed establishment of a modern EA Support Services to make smarter IT investment decisions based on business outcomes, value, and business performance. EA Support Services shall position HUD to meet increasing federal mandates for effective IT management and adapt to HUD’s technical and business needs more rapidly. The EA Support Services support will integrate elements of strategy, planning, and engineering to provide HUD OCIO with a holistic view of the HUD IT portfolio – through a variety of lenses (e.g., acquisition, project management, technology, and cybersecurity).

Scope:

Improved HUD EA Support Services shall provide the ability to effectively forecast, plan, and execute its IT needs for HUD to support current and future mission needs. The EA Support Services will also improve the collaboration and coordination between OCIO’s offices to create a complete picture of how the HUD operates today and plan for the future.
