NASA issues RFI for Intellectual Property Evaluation and Management Services


NASA is requesting information from US-owned organizations interested in evaluations and commercial assessments of NASA intellectual property in order to aid the Agency in technology transfer and commercial efforts. Services would be provided to NASA Headquarters (HQ) and all ten (10) NASA Field Centers.

NASA seeks to maximize the benefits from its Research and Development (R&D) investments that yield commercially valuable technologies. NASA recognizes that there are a variety of business models and platforms for providing IP evaluation. NASA is issuing this RFI in order to better understand the full range of possible models and services available for assisting the Agency with the assessing commercial potential of its new and patented technologies.
