“NASA/NSSC is hereby soliciting information from potential sources for: NASA engineers and scientists currently leverage National Instruments (NI) hardware, software, and maintenance to support multiple programs and projects throughout the Agency from design to production. There is a significant installed base of NI software and hardware products in use throughout the agency’s multiple centers. NI’s platform of graphical system design and modular hardware satisfies NASA engineering and scientific test and measurement requirements for nonhardware-centric user interfaces while providing the ability to create customized, flexible and scalable solutions for their applications.
The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Shared Services Center (NSSC) is seeking capability statements from all interested parties, including all socioeconomic categories of Small Businesses and Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU)/Minority Institutions (MI), for the purposes of determining the appropriate level of competition and/or small business subcontracting goals for a consolidated ordering agreement for National Instruments (NI) hardware, software, and maintenance. The Government reserves the right to consider a Small, 8(a), Women-owned (WOSB), Service-Disabled Veteran (SD-VOSB), Economically Disadvantaged Women-owned Small Business (EDWOSB) or HUBZone business set-aside based on responses received.”
“The purpose of this sources sought is twofold:
- To identify NI resellers who offer the products and services NASA has historically used.
- To determine if there are alternative platforms from other manufacturers out there that NASA should consider for its requirements.”
