OPM has awarded a contract extension to DMI to continue to provide contract support for the maintenance and for applicable software and hardware related to the mainframe environment under Task Order (TO) OPM32-17-F-0131. Due to the shutdown, there was a delay in the procurement of an award, but the ongoing need for these services require an extension to the existing contract. OPM requires these services be continued. Without continued support, OPM would be unable to operate its mainframe computing environment supporting Retirement Services and National Background Investigations processing.The services required are specific to the continued provision of management and technical support for the entire EIS environment. This includes, but is not limited to Project Management, Specialized Data Center Support, Enterprise Systems Software Support, Enterprise Systems and Network Support, Disaster Recovery and Continuity of Operations, Communications Operations, Document Management, Enterprise Maintenance, Deployment, Performance Reporting and maintenance.
The period of performance is of three months (3) commencing February 1, 2019 plus three (3) one-month option periods.
