CENTERPOINT Inc., a Leesburg, Virginia-based provider of cybersecurity services, announced today that the company has been awarded a $200 million contract by the U.S. Department of State (DOS) Bureau of Information Resource Management (IRM) Information Assurance (IA) to provide Cybersecurity Services.
If all options are exercised, the five-year Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) is available to all DOS HQ and Bureaus through September 29, 2025. Along with the BPA, CENTERPOINT was also awarded a five-year task order to provide System Owner Support to Department System Owners, Information System Security Officers (ISSOs) and system owner teams.
CENTERPOINT will leverage its industry-leading pureplay cybersecurity expertise to provide expert cybersecurity practitioners and Subject Matter Experts to deliver comprehensive cybersecurity support to the Department consistent with NIST standards, current regulatory requirements, and tailored to DOS operating environment and needs.

The Department of State maintains a complex global IT infrastructure that provides the platform to conduct diplomacy and advance U.S. national and economic security interests.
This is the second contract award CENTERPOINT announced in the recent months. On November 13th, the company announced a $115M contract award from the US Department of Health and Human Services.
