Press Release: Peraton scores a $56M Network Infrastructure Support Services Contract for The Social Security Administration

Peraton has been awarded a new 5-year, $56M single award BPA to provide network support services for The Social Security Administration. Peraton will provide SSA with Program Management, Engineering Support, Integration and Deployment task services and, Incidental Network Infrastructure tasks. The Network Infrastructure Services are delivered to locations both CONUS and OCONUS and support 82,000 SSA Employees.  Locations include 2 Data Centers, regional offices, more than 100 State Disability and Determination Services (DDS) sites, and over 1,600 field office locations. For over 20 years Peraton has been responsible for SSA Network design, technology integration and modernization. The Social Security Administration’s Network (SSANet) infrastructure provides the critical foundation for all information exchanges within the Agency’s enterprise network.  Network services are vital to all application processing whether hosted on the Agency’s mainframes, mid-range processors, LAN servers or Intranet servers.
