Protest Denied for $194M TSA IT Management, Performance Analysis, and Collaborative Technologies (IMPACT) contract

G2X TAKE: A protest challenging the recent award to CACI of a 40-month contract to provide the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) with a range of services to include cybersecurity, identity and access management, risk management, cloud integration, service desk, application deployment and optimization, and operations center support services has fallen on deaf ears as it has been denied by GAO.

Details as to the grounds for the challenge put forth by Perspecta have not been released at this time, but more information will be provided as it is made available. This task was competed on Eagle II with five total bids received. There are no other known challenges at this time.

The denial of this challenge clears the way as CACI can now offer their support to the TSA in both classified and unclassified IT operational environments, while they look to integrate with the broader DHS mission and enhance existing Department-wide IT capabilities.
