G2X TAKE: Yesterday’s announcement of a $27.7B acquisition of Slack by Salesforce will make the front page news today, and on the Federal contracting front, the announcement that Salesforce has agreed to acquire a Salesforce Top 10 Partner and rapidly emerging Federal player and GSA Salesforce Implementation, Integration, and Support Services (SIISS) BPA Prime who serves as a key services provider to VA, HHS, DHS, CFPB, USDA, Census, the White House, etc., will be very big news in the GovCon market today.
- While many will be familiar with Acumen through some of their significant wins over the last few years, to include a 5-year, $260M Enterprise Case Management Contract at Veterans Affairs (VA); a $27M task to provide EP Support Services for the CFPB; a $42M STARS Services task at DHS USCIS; and their longstanding work with the Executive Office of the President, the chart below details their Prime awards across the Federal sector and showcases just how quickly and effectively this group has grown across the Federal sector.
- In late 2015, Acumen Solutions was one of 6 firms named to this $503M SIISS BPA that consolidates the government’s Salesforce technical development, operations and maintenance, and implementation strategy requirements into one procurement vehicle. It can replace numerous agency-specific contracts, reducing both contract duplication and the government’s administration costs. Read more here.
