G2X TAKE: IBM recently beat out two other bidders to be awarded a 5-year contract to support the Securities Exchange Commission. The contract was competed and awarded using the GSA Professional Services Schedule (PSS).
- This award builds on prior experience IBM gained as a Prime on a 5-year Business Process Improvement – Center of Excellence task the company was awarded in 2015 on the Business Management Office (BMO) Support IDIQ.
- IBM is a longtime and familiar partner to the SEC, supporting a range of efforts from BPI support to providing Consolidated Audit Trail (CAT) Data Provisioning Technical Analysis and Platform Maturity Support and Support Services for Viewable Analytics and Dashboard for Registrants (VADR) under the Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) project.
- Late last year IBM announced they had designed the world’s first financial services-ready public cloud, designed to specifically help address the requirements of financial services institutions for regulatory compliance, security and resiliency.
