“The purpose of this amendment is to cancel on-ramp solicitation # 50310218R0005 in its entirety. After review of the pre-solicitation protest filed and a thorough assessment of the SEC’s business needs, a determination was made to take corrective action. A new solicitation under separate number will be issued in the near future.”
G2X TAKE: The SEC is taking corrective action in an effort to head off future issues after a pre-award protest was filed related to the small business On-Ramp for this important contract which is expected to be the primary vehicle for the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to acquire IT services over the next 10 years.
More details related to the protest can be found here.

The SEC has suspended its solicitation for ONE OIT proposals. In consideration of a pre-award protest, the proposal due date of this on-ramp solicitation is hereby suspended until after such time as this protest has been resolved. Offerors are instructed to NOT submit proposals until further instructions are provided via a future amendment. All other terms and conditions remain unchanged and in full force and effect.
Background
In late November, only weeks after the SEC finalized and announced the three unrestricted pool awardees and 15 initial restricted small business awardees for this important IDIQ contract, the SEC issued an RFP seeking additional offers from small businesses for the ONE OIT Multiple-Award contract. This On-Ramp intends to add ten (10) additional small business contractors to the restricted pool; however, the SEC reserves the right to award more, less, or no contracts at all if determined to be in the best interest of the Government. The full RFP is available here.
