“The Social Security Administration (SSA) is performing market research to identify potential authorized SAS reseller/integrator vendors under GSA schedule capable of ensuring that the suite of SAS tools purchased by SSA to provide analytics, data mining, and workflow capabilities necessary to support the agency’s phased replacement of its current Comprehensive Integrity Review Process (CIRP) remain supported and viable and modernization of the CIRP system remains on schedule.”

3.1 An Upgrade of Existing Solutions

“The current analytics solution has reached its end of life and is being replaced with a more robust version of the current suite of SAS products. The upgraded software will provide enhanced investigative tools and features designed to lessen the time needed for case analysis. The contractor will ensure a seamless transition between the existing solution and the updated platform with no functionality downtime for end users of the system…”

3.2 Improved Management Information

“The contractor will provide expertise in the creation of restricted dashboards for various audiences with an interest in viewing data related to case investigations and resolutions. The contractor must be able to provide these dashboards on a flow basis based on SSA component requests, while not compromising the essential migration of CIRP caseloads.”

3.3 Integration with Source System Data

“As part of the retirement of the legacy CIRP, system the contractor will provide expertise in evaluating mainframe COBOL programs for business logic related to data transformation and manipulation. The re-engineered system will not be considered complete until the data used in case creation is derived entirely from SSA’s Enterprise Data Warehouse or directly from a source system, as SSA deems appropriate…”
