SSA RFI: Information Technology Operations Management (ITOM), Service Management (ITSM) and Asset Management (ITAM)

The Office of Systems Operations and Hardware Engineering (OSOHE) at the Social Security Administration (SSA) is seeking a software solution that will provide information technology operations management (ITOM), service management (ITSM) and asset management (ITAM) capabilities. The solution must be a commercial off the shelf (COTS) product, although requirements may dictate minor customization. The solution will allow SSA to combine its ITOM, ITSM and ITAM processes.


Infrastructure Support

  • Software as a Service (SaaS) package or an installation on a secure cloud platform such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Microsoft Azure
  • Option for installation in an on-premise cloud
  • High Availability (HA) support, allowing for 24×7 access to the tool
  • Data storage that uses a robust, enterprise database which can be queried by third-party reporting tools such as WebFocus 8 and Tableau…

Out-of-the-box workflows and support for the following Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) processes:

  • Service Design
    • Service Catalogue Management
