“Responsibilities
- As full deputy and alter-ego to the AC, ODT, the DAC directs and oversees the critical functions of product management, program and project management for the agency’s IT investments and software development lifecycles, which includes but not limited to SSA entitlement applications, SSA enterprise software, and cross-cutting applications that support the agency’s core mission workloads.
- The DAC, ODT manages agency-wide product management processes; develops and implements standards related to the software development lifecycle (SDLC) as well as the agile lifecycle processes; provides methods and procedures for software planning, tracking, requirements, design, development, validation and change control; and provides a product/program/project management governance structure through the implementation of Systems Quality Assurance Controls.”
