“The FAA Labor and Employee Relations community requires a comprehensive case management, tracking, and reporting tool that addresses the needs of the Labor Relations, Employee Relations (LER) specialist community, as well as FAA leadership. The system must provide the LER Specialist/Practitioner, HR Program Managers and Agency Leadership with the ability to track, manage and report on cases from inception to final resolution. In addition, the system should be a cloud-based service, as suggested by the technology directive issued by the Administration.
Any application designed must meet the unique needs, functionality, and requirements of the FAA, including:
- Single point of access for all case information and appropriate access to all relevant stakeholders.
- Allow for compiling, analyzing and reporting on FAA-wide LER program data, Accountability Board data, official passport tracking and other potential DOT LER data.
- Highly flexible, configurable, and easy to set up and administer to effectively support FAA case management business processes currently in use as well as easily configured to new requirements, such as addition of case types.
