G2X TAKE: Beating out one other bidder, Custom Software Systems (CSS), a HUBZone woman-owned small business that specializes in developing and implementing Custom Software Solutions and Support Services, has been awarded a 5-year BPA to support this Bureau that promotes the financial integrity and operational efficiency of the Federal Government through exceptional accounting, financing, collections, payments, and shared services. The contract was competed and awarded using GSA IT-70 as a woman-owned small business set-aside action.

- CSS is a familiar face to the Department of Treasury Bureau of the Fiscal Service having served as Prime on a 5-year $10M HUBZone set-a-side contract they were awarded with U.S. Treasury in 2015. The objective of this BPA was “to provide technical expertise and support in Payment Management processes, Payment Management Operations and Maintenance (O&M), and secure Payment Management system development, implementation, and deployment.” CSS, along with partner Pichler Computing, Inc. were to “assist Fiscal Service in sustaining the “legacy” Payment Management systems (Treasury Check Information System (TCIS) and Treasury Receivable Accounting Collection System (TRACS)) during its operational transfer to incumbent system (Post Payment System (PPS)).” Source: CSS.
