Unissant scores $230M in DHS CBP Data and Vetting task wins

G2X TAKE: Finishing the year with a bang, Unissant, a small business advanced data analytics and business transformation services provider just won a pair of 6-year tasks from the Department of Homeland Security.

Under the first task order, which has a value of $47.2M, Unissant will develop and maintain analytical and targeting software systems and management of data and meta data within the Customs and Border Protection’s big data cluster and expand big data services. In addition, the company will be responsible for standardizing data enrichment, optimizing data storage and enhancing data exploration and discovery.

The Unissant team includes Centrifuge, an SBA 8(a) small business, and Rock Elm, an SBA-certified HUBZone and Woman-Owned Small Business.

For the second task, which is valued at $182.3M, Unissant will provide a full range of operations and maintenance support for the CBP TASPD ATS Passenger Vetting suite of computer and software applications. Additionally, the Unissant team will support migration to the cloud environment and a move to a DevOps strategy that includes upgrades, updates, modifications and enhancements of existing applications in response to evolving technologies, threats, and mission requirements in direct support of DHS and CBP.

Unissant’s teaming partners are Linkware, an SBA certified small business with over 15 years of experience at TASPD, and SAIC, a Fortune 500 company with extensive experience at TASPD.

Both tasks were awarded on the CIO-SP3 Small Business contract vehicle and both will support CBP’s Targeting and Analysis Systems Program Directorate (TASPD).
