The US Census Bureau’s Economic Indicators Division (EID) seeks to continue providing a web application for the USA Trade Online website. The software allows EID to provide U.S. merchandise trade import and export statistics at varying levels of commodity, country, port, and time period detail in a simple, user-friendly format shortly after the data are officially released by the U.S. Census Bureau. The objectives are to provide a data publishing, dissemination, and analytical web application to import and export statistical data, based on the HS, HTS, and NAICS codes.
The requirements include providing data publishing, dissemination, and analytical web software, which will hereby be referred to as “web software,” as well as maintenance and support services for the web software. The web software will require users to login so that we may provide for web measurement and customization technologies spanning over multiple sessions. Therefore, the system will be required to securely maintain and protect Personally Identifiable Information (PII)/ Business Identifiable Information (BII) data according to FIPS-199 standards.
Specific services requirements include: analytical and tabulation web software, hardware and software, maintenance services, and technical support services.
The period of performance is anticipated to be from January 1, 2019 through December 31, 2019, with four one-year option periods.
