The USCG intends to award a task order to CGI Federal Inc under the DHS Eagle II contract, to continue to provide the Fleet Management Information Systems (FMIS) services to track warranty information on new procurements and provide technical information and configuration management. The current contract is used to track information on approximately 25 different class of boats and major equipment. FMIS users include fleet managers, operators and maintainers throughout the USCG and manufacturers who build boats.
The purpose of this task order is to acquire one year of continued support of FEDRamp Level 3 hosting of FMIS and to perform upgrades to the application, the database and website management support to comply with current information technology security protocols.
This contract is intended to serve as a one-year bridge, to be completed by September 2019, to a future, competitively awarded contract. The current contract services are essential to the program mission and the loss of services would negatively impact program overall costs.
