“This position is known organizationally as the Director, Office of Information Technology (OIT) and Chief Information Officer (CIO), and is the principal advisor on the application of information technology (IT) to support and improve the Agency’s business processes. Directs short-term and long-range strategic IT planning and policy development. Manages the staff, computer facilities, equipment, and telecommunications network; and provides IT policy and procedural direction to the Agency.”
- Advises the agency’s Executive Team on the acquisition, utilization and management of information technology systems and other resources that maximally support the agency’s mission and operation.
- Ensures the rigorous application of information security policies, procedures and practices in the selection and delivery of IT resources and systems.
- Leads the Office of Information Technology’s engagement on preparing for and implementing emergency response/disaster recovery efforts.”
