Aresh Beheshti-Shirazi, a rising IT leader within the US Patent and Trademark Office, has been tapped as Section Chief of the Software Quality Assurance Division (SQAD).
Aresh possesses more than 11 years of experience working as a Patent Examiner on Cybersecurity and Network Security applications and in his new role will ensure the quality of the software, support business users testing needs, at the Department of Commerce’s USPTO.
Prior roles include:
- Patent Business Analyst/Product Owner for Office of International Patent Cooperation (OIPC) – USPTO
- IT Project Manager (TOM) (Detail), Application Engineering Division, OCIO – USPTO
- Master Level Patent Examiner, Technology Center 2400 – USPTO
