G2X TAKE: Given the perspective and insight Rory Schultz has gained in progressively responsible roles with USDA, to include time as a Deputy CIO and CTO, and leading some critical HQ IT initiatives with Treasury before that, the broad announcement that this technology leader will be leaving Government and seeking his next opportunity is certain to ensure firms will be reaching out early to explore options to work together.

I’m interested in work as a consultant, as a CTO, or as an Ops manager, all of which I am well qualified for and which interests me. No decisions yet although I have started some discussions with small and medium sized women owned businesses. That said I am pretty well able to work anywhere, be it small, large or medium…”
Prior roles include:
- Client Executive – USDA
- Deputy Chief Information Officer – USDA
- Director, Technology Division and CTO – USDA
- Director, Headquarters IT – US Treasury
