“Scope – This Performance Work Statement (PWS) identifies a range of possible Task Order (TO) [also referred to as a Call] requirements for information Technology Support Services (ITOSS) for the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Division of Information Resource Management (DIRM). All services requested under this PWS are non-personal and not inherently governmental in nature and will result in issued Task Orders from the Contracting Officer (CO).

BLM requires IT managed services from an innovative Service Provider (SP) to supports its mission, Bureau-wide. The BLM expects to gain efficient, high quality, customer service-oriented technical support for its employees & contracting personnel allowing the Bureau to focus on its mission critical services.

The performance-based SP shall provide IT managed services for the BLM with emphasis on the Information Technology Information Library (ITIL) framework providing support in the following areas:

  • IT Managed Services (Help Desk Support Services)
  • Technical and problem resolution, Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS)
  • Desktop software support services
  • Technical Support in Desktop, server support and local area network
  • System Administration Support
  • Backup and Patching Support
  • Configuration Management Support
  • Mobility Device Support

The IT managed services shall be measurable and provided at a consistent performance level, ensuring quality factors are embedded within those services for the life of the contract.

The DIRM intends to use the resultant Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPA) as the primary sources for fulfilling IT Operation requirements resulting in multiple TOs to be performed simultaneously.”
